Supporting healing through art.

My work tells stories of travel, nature, and beauty — exploring the colour, rhythm, and emotion of the world around me. I paint allotments, vegetables, bustling markets, mountain villages, and everyday moments of life, transforming them into vibrant, layered worlds filled with joy and movement.

I work with rich, earthy and vibrant oils, oil pastels, chalks, and Posca pens, building layers of texture and depth. Like David Hockney, I’m fascinated by how colour and composition can create a sense of wonder — how each mark and hue can open a window into feeling and place.

Painting is my therapy. It brings me back to myself, to presence, and to the joy of creating in the moment. I often paint alongside my children in our kitchen, where pots, pans, and paints share the same space. Our home is full of creativity, home-cooked meals, allotment vegetables, and the hum of family life — all of which feed into my art. I also share and sell my children’s artwork, celebrating their uninhibited imagination and sense of play.

I began painting as a curious child, but it was during a time of personal change and separation that painting became my way to rest my mind and heal. Now, as a therapist, I bring creativity into my addiction recovery programmes, helping others express themselves and rediscover calm through art.

My travels have shaped both my palette and perspective: the vibrant colours of Mexico, where I once lived, the warm tones of Morocco, the soft greens and blues of the Scottish Highlands, the serenity of the Lake District, and the earthy landscapes of my home county, Yorkshire.

I paint intuitively and in series, often working on multiple canvases at once — allowing one piece to lead into another. My most popular collections include the Mexican Colour Series, the Morocco Cactus Series, and the Switzerland Mountain Villages.

What began as a personal passion has grown into a shared creative life. I now sell my original paintings and prints locally in London and online, alongside my children’s joyful creations.

My art is about colour, connection, and healing — about adding depth, texture, and wonder to everyday life, and seeing beauty in the simple, ordinary moments that make us feel alive.
